  1. I've just spent an amazed 5 minutes looking at the number of hits the site has had since I launched it on Friday last week! About 3,600! Can you believe it ... I feel very humble!

I had a busy 3-day weekend, as usual - seeing Fi my lovely step-daughter and her beautiful identical twin daughters Maddie & Freya (aka Bella and the Moo) on Friday, lunch with my mum on Saturday and a busy, sewing day yesterday! I don't seem to get much time to myself so having nearly a whole day yesterday with everyone out for the day was absolute bliss, even though some people were surprised I'd want to be alone on Mothers Day! It wasn't really that - I already knew I wouldn't be seeing Ben, my eldest, as he was at his best friend's stag do in London and that I wouldn't see Luke, my younger son, till the evening, so I just wanted to spend the day doing what I like best!

Today has been another busy day at the children's centre ... lots of pregnant mums today ... followed by grocery shopping. I can't believe how much I spent in Asda to refill my cupboards! Scary really, isn't it?

I've been trying to find some union jack type fabric to make up some bunting, but not having any luck so far online - unfortunately there really are no decent fabric outlets near me (unless someone tells me differently!) so everything has to be bought online. I'll keep searching though.

I'm very excited as I've also just ordered some lovely new products for the Finishing Touches section of the shop. Hopefully they will arrive in the next day or two and I will load them up! Keep looking out for them as they really are gorgeous!

  2. Hello and welcome to the first day of the new Bella and the Moo website! Its been quite a journey to get here and there were times when I thought I'd never quite make it, but here I am! I have had lots of support and positive encouragement on the way and would especially like to say thank you to my twitter friends, who have boosted me when I was struggling and are now celebrating along with me! Thanks guys!

I am so pleased that now the website is up and live I can get back to what I love most - creating. I have been longing to get the sewing machine out and put together some gorgeous wedding bunting or a fabulously pretty cushion or two!

I will be listing new items every week in the shop, so please come by and have a look again!

Time to put my feet up for a minute or two and celebrate with a glass of sparkly!!

    Love Tina xxx
