And the journey continues ...

I wish I prioritised this blog more - I really always mean to update its several times a week, but it never seems to quite happen like that - other things always get in the way. But today I am sitting here having given myself a night off from sewing (that and the bulb's gone on the sewing machine!) and am going to update you on where Bella and the Moo is at!

My next craft fair is this coming Saturday at Spaxton - the hall and pavilion will be full of lovely people with lovely goodies and I can't wait. I still have a few little jobs to do - borrowing a couple of extra tables, working out the room plans and confirming the cake order, but it is going to come together really well. I'm really excited as its the first one I've done since flying solo, although Steve has offered to come over first thing and set out the tables and put up the bunting and come back later to help with the clearing up, and my lovely friend Kim has volunteered to come and serve tea and cake all day! I do feel a bit guilty though as its her daughter Jess's 17th birthday on Saturday and she won't be seeing much of her during the day. Please come over and say hi if you're in the area! There will be 20 stalls selling all kinds of lovely items, including my own homewares.

I had a fairly successful trip over to Stoke-sub-Hamdon on Bank Holiday Monday for their craft fair, although the weather was horrendous for most of the day! That said, it didn't keep people away and the hall where I was sited was busy all day - partly because the tea and cakes was also being served there! I met some really lovely people too - several I had been chatting with on Twitter and Facebook, so it was lovely to put names to faces! I met lovely Millies Bags, Bubs Bears and Florrie B (and her mum), all of whom I had been chatting with on facebook. Everyone was really friendly and cheerful despite the dampness of the day! I've booked to go back to their Flower Show on 6 August, as I really enjoyed my time there!

I've been searching for more craft fairs to sell my lovely wares at and have booked into one on August Bank Holiday Monday at Baltonsborough near Glastonbury. It'll be the first time I've done an outside show, so will have to get myself a sturdy table and a gazebo before that time - preferably one with sides, as I've seen how wet and blown about you can get without those!!

I will do my absolute best to try to blog more often, although with the fair this Saturday, Race for Life on Sunday, an 80th birthday party, a meal with friends after work and lots of sewing to do i can't promise!!

xx
