Hello from a wet, windy and thundery Somerset! I'm glad we didn't have this weather yesterday when I was at the Stoke-sub-Hamdon Flower, Produce & Craft Fair! Even though the weather was fine there weren't many people out and about visiting, so the day was very quiet with most of the stall-holders barely covering their costs. This is always disappointing, but still lovely to meet new people and I did get lots of positive feedback about my goodies!

The weather today though has given me a good excuse (if one were needed!) to spend the day mostly on the computer doing a bit of marketing (and having a sale!) and also browsing for Christmas fabrics to start on the lead up to the festive season which I'll do in September. There are some lovely materials out there, which made it difficult to choose, but I think I've made some good choices!

I've had a lovely custom bunting order come through too which meant sourcing some new fabrics to make a personalised bunting for Kylies Treaures - she has a lovely page on facebook, so do take a look!

Hopefully the other craft fairs I have booked into in August will offer more sales, but its a very hit-and-miss game and you can never tell!

I'll be at the Guildhall in Chard on Saturday 20 August and at the very popular Baltonsborough Show on Bank Holiday Monday 29 August. See the Events page for more details. I do hope to see you there!
